Apparently, Flyers not going to TO to pitch to Parise. Neither are the Pens. He's not worth the $8m he'll probably get.

Watching TSN/NHL. Happy to see them giving Carle is props. Seems it is only flyer fans that think he sucks. I think not signing him will be a be mistake UNLESS they sign Suter.

@off_the_post I'd take Barret Jackman in a heartbeat, much harder to cycle/play against, no offense but a mean nasty guy who can clear the crease...for under 3 mill...only had 3 pts last year, but no pp time....was a nice +20 last season.

I'm not sold on Jackman vs. Carle. Carle has better wheels so I'd go with wheels.

I would have liked Carkner as a 6/7 defenseman. Him and Schenn on the third pairing would have been good for a bruising. And Carkner is better than Lilja.
