The Quigster Posted July 5, 2012 Posted July 5, 2012 This guy always seemed to be a decent "D" man, shoots right, big guy,(6'5") 228 lbs.,not afraid to mix it up,his stats aren't too hot and after the Canes he moved around a lot. Anybody have any thoughts on him ? Apparently his contract with Tampa expired. Anybody? Quote

Anybody?Amazingly slow player. i watched him in Columbus. the reason he is usually in good position defensively is because he can't keep up with the play at all when the puck is headed the other way. jammer2 Posted July 5, 2012 Posted July 5, 2012 Well, Detroit let him go, was really ineffective there, so a big no for me. Quote
flyerrod Posted July 5, 2012 Posted July 5, 2012 Well, Detroit let him go, was really ineffective there, so a big no for me.If he was allowed to clutch and grab in Detroit and still could not cut the mustard then a resounding Hell NO!!! Quote
AbelMorpheus Posted July 5, 2012 Posted July 5, 2012 I thought I remember reading that he was a dog house guy too. Detroit picked him up kind of as an experiment. Probably giving him some leeway for poor attitude, lackadaisical play and coach differences due to playing in Clumbus. Quote
jammer2 Posted July 6, 2012 Posted July 6, 2012 @AbelMorpheus I read pretty close to the same thing in the Detroit Free Press last year. Quote
