MAB resigns and Laughton signs entry-level deal

Hrm. a 200k/year pay cut? That seems off to me. Unless it's one way, which might balance the loss of the total contract value in MAB's eyes...

I'm with you, something is amiss here. His Cap Hit was $875K and was qualified (10% raise). I'm betting he signed for $1.225 mm per year. Some of that may be bonuses.

Meltzer says it's a one way deal, which, in effect, is a raise, not a cut, since he only made ~500k last year. If so, the Flyers did really well.

And Laughton got a two-way deal worth 925k/year in NHL salary plus 212k in bonuses year one and 425k year two. No bonuses in year three.
