Homer might be just finding out the price or asking what it would take. Once all the forwards are healthy and if Pronger is out for long, maybe he pulls the trigger. brelic Posted December 15, 2011 Share Posted December 15, 2011 Seriously, I don't see the point in trading for a defenseman unless:a) Pronger is way worse than they thought and could be gone for the seasonB) The Flyers are looking for a long-term replacement for Pronger, not a stopgap.But, considering we have about 10 defensemen we can choose from, it makes no sense to acquire a #5/6.
