canoli
I don't know but after reading the story about Fehr's counter-proposal I'm optimistic about the season starting on time. Maybe because I hardly understood what he and the NHLPA are proposing...that's probably it. But it seems like the 2 sides aren't too far apart. Fehr recognized the owners desire to keep the cap, which could've been a big deal-breaker. Otherwise it's only ("only") the revenue-sharing, which I have to believe is in the interests of both sides to work out. Before Sept 15th I mean. I think they will. jammer2
@canoli I'm more optimistic now than I was last week, Fehr made a solid, well thought out counter....not only did he put the public opinion in the players corner, he ignored the temptation to make this a war and even showed the players flexibility.....NHL's turn now!
