jammer2
A sad day in the Detroit area today folks. Bud Lynch the famous Wings colour analyst has passed at the ripe ol age of 93. Bud nickname was "the one arm bandit" due to his lack of 2 arms. He served in the Essex Scottish Regiment during World War 2 and lost his arm in a battle. My Dad belonged to the Essex Scottish also and he met him a few times at functions....guess he was a nice guy. He was a severe homer announcer, honestly one of the worst ever for having home team bias....but he was really respected around here and it's a big loss for the community.http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/story/?id=407059
flyerrod
This is one of the sad side effects of the lock out. A guy like Bud literally lived for the game, RIP Bud, The game itself will not be as bright for your passing.
