hf101 Posted January 22, 2013 Share Posted January 22, 2013 The Kings will be without one of their assistant captains Matt Greene for the remainder of the season with a back injury on Saturday against the Blackhawks. They are also starting the season without Anze Kopitar. Greene is a solid defender and played a solid role in their cup run. In addition Quick looked rather shaky in his first appearance.....this team looks as if could very well struggle in the shortened season. They are a talented young team, but that run they went on was some all-time records type of stuff, and they certainly aren't an all-time great team. Everything just went right for them. Bernier is not getting any younger.That's all just a part of the being exposed imo. As I originally said, they're a talented young team. They're better than we are. But that run they went on was an alignment of the stars kinda thing. It's kinda like when the boys came back against Boston. It happened, but its'a freak of nature type of situation.
