Weird, I thought the Rags liked how Rupp was playing. That's a good deal for both teams IMO. Powe has plenty of grit plus speed so they don't lose much there, except in the fighting category. With Callahan out for a bit, I can understand this move.

I was watching the Wild last night and the broadcast team was excited about the deal, i don't know the move for the Rangers seems a little abrupt and panicky unless Callahan's injury is worse than previously thought, Darrol Powe isn't going to help much with scoring which is what they need . I think it was a slow day that we're talking about this.

i do like to watch Minnesota now though, they're fast and tough they didn't get any help from their goaltender last night but they have a nice roster of players.

If the Rags players like Hagelin etc don't pick up the scoring, the Rags will make other moves to address it. They're not getting the offense from the backend that they got last year, so maybe that will start to come too.
