hf101
The Flyers took seven of eight points is the recent homestand, however they have a 6 game road trip starting on Monday through the next 10 days. If we look at their schedule in increments how many points do you see the Flyers obtaining over the course of the road trip?MON FEB 11, 2013 ---- MAPLE LEAFS TUE FEB 12, 2013 ---- JETSFRI FEB 15, 2013 ---- DEVILS SAT FEB 16, 2013 ---- CANADIENS MON FEB 18, 2013 ---- ISLANDERS WED FEB 20, 2013 ----PENGUINS Leighton will probably start one the next couple of games of either the Leafs or the Jets, I think probably the Jets. Here are my guesses:1. Leafs - win in OT2. Jets - loss3. Devils - loss4. Canadiens - win5. Islanders - shootout loss6. Penguins - winTotal 7 of 12 points.

Jets - loss (only if you DO start Leighton) 3. Devils - loss4. Canadiens - win5. Islanders - win6. Penguins - lossI think you've got a tough road trip there as most of these teams are playing pretty well. The Islanders, Canadiens and the Jets are playing on par with your boys right now, but everyone else has been playing better. Yes, even the Leafs. They've been off to a bit of a surprising start. flyerrod
I think we will see a 3-3 over this road trip. Having Simmonds back on the ice is going to help. I see a loss to the Pens and those miserable Devils and the third loss is whichever game Leighton starts.......
jammer2
Hmmm, I say we split, with loses to the Devils (surprise), Isles and Pens....so we will lose to all our division rivals and win the rest.
Vanflyer
1. Leafs - win in OT2. Jets - loss3. Devils - loss4. Canadiens - win5. Islanders - shootout loss6. Penguins - win1) Leafs win- mostly because L Schenn is going to knock JVR out. 2) Jets win- Their d / goaltending is worse than ours. You add a Simmonds and Hartnell. 3) Devils Lose- Marty is having his swan song. 4) Canadiens lose- They are a good young team and the Flyers will be banging all the hot Frenchies the night before. 5) Islanders win- I really like the islander team, but they still have allot of cracks and with our lineup, we should be able to blow those cracks wide open. 6) Pens lose- The pens will be reeling from a losing streak and look for vengeance against the Flyers. I see a 3-3. Of course any injured player returning will revamp my predictions.
