I completely rebuild my Habs and led them to a few Stanley Cups. Then, I got bored and started over. This time, as your Philadelphia Flyers. I am currently in year 4 and here's what the team looks like....*red numbers = overall rating*LW C RWVoracek(89) - Giroux(90) - Corey Perry(88)Hartnell(84) - Tyler Seguin(89) - Ryan Clowe(84)Mason Raymond(81) - B. Schenn(82) - Simmonds(83)Byron Bickell(76) - Talbot(79) - Chris Neil(77)LD RDTimonen(85) - Meszaros(85)Chris Phillips(84) - L.Schenn(85)Foster(77) - Gervais(77)Starting Goalie: Alex Fontinos(92) *drafted 3rd overall in 2013*Back Up: Alex Stalock(83)What I did was, I traded some of the vets (i.e Briere, Pronger, Grossmann, Bryz, Coburn, etc.) for 1st round picks and tanked year 1. The result was goalie Alex Fontinos and he is a beast. Last season, we won the Presidents Trophy and the Stanley Cup, with Fontinos picking up the Conn Smythe, Vezina, Hart, Ted Lindsay, and Jennings trophies for his effort (47 wins, .945 sv%, 1.59 GAA. 11 shutouts).. Clowe was a great pick up from San Jose notching an average of 67.9 points per year since I've acquired him. G is doing great too, posting 90+ point seasons.. Seguin (who was a waiver pick up ffs {they need to fix that}) is excelling at the 2nd line centre spot, scoring 109 points last season while in between Clowe and Hartnell, who picked up a respectable 80 points. Corey Perry was literally stolen from Anaheim... think I gave up Rinaldo, a 1st round pick and Leighton for him (sometimes the game is stupid). The whole time I had him, I had him lined up with Schenn and Cooter (who is playing in the AHL right now, didn't trade him!) and he was only scoring 50 points, so hopefully putting him beside Voracek and Giroux will boost his points up...Anyways, just thought I'd post this because I think this team is filthy and I may have to trade some guys away next off season due to salary cap issues...
