brelic
Sarah Baicker from CSN tweeted that the Flyers waived Knuble, but then took it back.... So, maybe they're are just about to waive him but it wasn't public yet?

ruxpin
@brelicYeah, something happened there. What do you bet they made the decision and then realized they'd counted wrong on how many games Harry Z has sat against his suspension. Or maybe it got tweeted before Knuble knew and they thought he deserved better than that.
Popular Post jammer2
I say don't waive him, it might mean a better draft pick if his slow ass is in the line-up until the end of the year.

Maybe there's a team out there that really would like his services for the next 18 games like the Flyers needed him when we had mounting injuries. This was always just a temporary signing. Samifan
Carchidi and Baicker now saying maintenance day for Knubs.Maintenance days for players that have been a healthy scratch the past two weeks? radoran
If they waive Knuble, what message are they sending to other 40-year-old FAs who couldn't get a job in the NHL at the start of the season?
Samifan
@ruxpinMaybe it really is a maintenance day, after all Knuble has been serving alot of popcorn and drinks in the pressbox for the past two weeks. Sore shoulder from scooping popcorn or sore feet from standing every game and not getting to sit down every 45 seconds?

Shelley had to go on the IR earlier in the season.
DaGreatGazoo
Is it me, or are the Flyers the ONLY TEAM IN THE NHL that could F*UCK up, potentially at this point, waiving a player, and turning it into an episode of Family Guy. God this **** is getting old."thus endeth the rant".

off_the_post
Is there such this as a provisional waiver? My golfing buddy explained to me the fine art of a provisional mulligan. Perhaps this is one in the same?
