As a player, off the ice, a very deserving member of the HOF and a very frendly people first kinda guy. I hated to hear about Mickey Redmonds health problems, but I MUCH prefer Larry to Mickey!! Redmond is very whiney, very homer type announcer who does not call the game fair, way to Wings freindly.....just my opinion. Sounds like he is being made the scapegoat for the dropping ratings....how about the Wings are not the team they once were, and people are tuning out because of the on ice product, not who is calling the games!!
