Irishjim
According to Matias Strozyk, Phantoms defenseman Andreas Lilja has signed a two year contract overseas with Rögle BK in Sweden. The Flyers signed Lilja during the 2011 offseason for veteran experience on the blueline. He had six assists in 46 games with the Flyers last season and appeared in one game with the Phantoms. This season he appeared in one game with the Flyers and 25 games with the Phantoms, totaling one goal and six assists. The contract starts next season, so he'll finish out this year with the Phantoms. It has been a tough year for him as he has been pushed back far on the defensive depth chart. doom88
Good for Lilja, going home and still playing the game he loves. Just didn't have enough left for North America.

OccamsRazor
Good for Lilja, going home and still playing the game he loves.I like him better on defense than Gervais...even as slow as he was at least he could block shots and play a little D...even if more time than not he was just in the way...Gervais does nothing good....makes Coburn look like Booby Orr in comparison....
