Don't worry Flyers fans! Brodeur will retire eventually...

Never seen one man just suck the life out of an entire fan base for so long. Maybe Mariano Rivera... but Brodeur has a special place in Flyers history.

I'm sure he'll retire in a few years and we will finally get over the hump.

Although I'm pretty sure that in 50 years Brodeur could die and the Devils could lay his dead carcass in front of the net, and the Devils would have a better chance of winning the game than if they had modern day Bryzaster in net...

honestly, since 2004 the Flyers have gotten the advantage over the Devils.

These days people are only able to remember events with the past year.

But the Flyers did trounce the Devils in 2004 and 2010.

You're making too much of Brodeur. This isn't 2000

When a man has a .942 save % against your team, how can you make too much if him?

my point

people make it sound like the Devils have completely dominated the Flyers since 1995.

That isn't true

As I stated, from 2004 through early 2012 the Flyers owned the Devils for the most part.

The success of the Devils against the Flyers weent from 1995-2003.

LAst yr's playoffs and meaningless losses against them this lost season do not change the above facts.
