hf101
This series can go either way. Ovechkin and the Capitals have been playing strong and the Rangers have Lundqvist. I'm looking forward to watching this series, I think the Capitals get through this series in an upset.Capitals in
yave1964
Ovie versus Lundquist. A lot like the Sharks/Canucks, two veteran teams running out of time. I think the Rangers will win in 7, with Jacket fans pulling out their hair as Rick Nash punches in the game winner assisted by Brassard...... AbelMorpheus
The Caps have been playing some very good hockey down the stretch ,11-2 in April. The Rangers went 10-4 in the same time span. So this will be an interesting series. Even though the Caps are the higher seeded team here, I think they'll surprise the Rangers in 6. flyercanuck
Caps have been rolling but this is the time of year when they fall apart. So do I pick the Rangers? Can't say I like either team. How about those Colts!

hf101
Game 1 looked like an easy win for the Capitals. The Rangers really haven't looked strong since they traded away Gaborik at the trade deadline.
Polaris922
And I took Lundqvist...
hf101
Interesting to see how the Rangers respond with Staal's return to the team. I've read that his vision is acceptable to play but not as good as it was before. During the Winter Classic Staal returned to make a difference, I think they are a more consistent team with him in the line-up.
Polaris922
It might have made a difference... He didn't stand out but they won one!
hf101
I haven't taken the time to read up on Staal as to if he will return for game 6, but this matchup has had some great goaltending by both teams.
