Jmdodgesrt4
Can we move someone to another late 1st rounder and get both? I think it might be easier to do that then to slide up five or six spots for nurse depleting our forward depth and losing maybe a second rounder as well. ctid
Risto is ranked 20th?? I was pretty sure he was ranked 8-12 ish.
HansonBros17
We still have our second round pick?? I thought Homer traded that to Tony Luke's for a sandwich.
Jmdodgesrt4
It's on tsn but its dated april 8th. A lot of forwards are predicted to go early.
EDI-Flyer
It's on tsn but its dated april 8th. A lot of forwards are predicted to go early. This is Craig Button's personal take on the draft rankings and apart from the consensus top 5 it bears spectacularly little resemblance to the rankings of either ISS or NHL Central Scouting. There is no chance in hell that Risto will drop to 20, we will be lucky if he is there for us at 11. Jmdodgesrt4
@EDI-Flyer. I was thinking the same thing. I was shocked seeing that listed
JackStraw
ISS has Ristoleinen at #11 in their latest (mid-April) ranking. Central Scouting has him as the #4 ranked European skater, they apparently don't combine the rankings for European and North American prospects.I seriously doubt Ristoleinen will last to #20. As EDI Flyers says, the Flyers will be lucky if he's there at #11.
flyercanuck
Button likes to be controversial. He actually does pretty good on some "reaches" but for the most part it seems he's just trying to generate conversation. No way do those two drop that far down.
JackStraw
Anybody have any thoughts on Robert Hagg? Pretty nice highlight video of him from the WJC: He's got good size (6'2") and good wheels, seems to handle the puck and pass well.
trevluk
We still have our second round pick?? I thought Homer traded that to Tony Luke's for a sandwich. That's actually a good trade! I'm 3000 miles away from a good cheesesteak so I'd throw in a conditional third as well for a piping hot Tony Luke's!
