radoran
Nice, but I still wish I liked the logo more than I do.
hf101
@radoran then again I grew up with views like this most weekends as a kid and this
radoran
Too true - and it is a good stab at it. As I just, I just wish I liked it more than I do I've always had a preternatural affinity for Minnesota, despite never being there. Everyone I've ever met from there have been good people. Sort of like America's Finland
hf101
Sort of like America's Finland LOL This stapled to a yard stick as a mosquito swatter was probably my father's favorite joke....
jammer2
@radoran "'I've always had a preternatural affinity for Minnesota, despite never being there. It went much longer than that though, I remember cheering for them when Dino Ciciccerelli was a rookie and the whole little Dinosaur craze....lol, good times. goalnut3133
I agree with @radoran, I've never been crazy on the logo & even more so, the colour combinations, although if I had to choose, I much prefer the dark green home jersey to the white combo. (But I guess that goes the same for ours, I much prefer the blue home jersey to white). For the Wild, I'd rather see them bring back the vintage "N" as in hf's avatar, as at least an alternate jersey, but then it would clash with the new name. (Same as I like our 'stick in the rink' vintage jersey..I almost prefer it to our Orca whale).
hf101
@goalnut3133 Yeah I think the Dark Green 3rd jersey with "Minnesota Wild" written was an instant hit. As far as the color scheme goes the brick red color is for the iron ore mines which were once a thriving export. The reasoning for the green is obvious. I'm glad they have chosen to remove for the most part is the golden yellow. The logo looks far better with the three colors in an offwhite-white, green and brick red. I believe the yellow also was initiated in the original logo as a part of the old North Stars. The Wild logo has the "North Star" as the eye of the bear. The North Stars history is a part of the Dallas Stars organization, thus they really couldn't bring back the N. Interesting though the Stars have eliminated the yellow from their jerseys this year. As far as Vancouver's logo goes I also like the blue / green "stick in the rink" logo mainly because it is simple and it has both the blue and green colors. The Orca whale is good, but they never really could add the green to it.

mojo1917
Unlike team USA's sweaters this has panache ! I am a fan of the design of the logo, i prefer the alternate green and cream with the script sweater to almost all other sweaters in the league, still the logo is good design IMO. The Sabres put in a jersey that was white script Buffalo on Blue with yellow trim last season. I think they killed it for this season. Most people I talked to loved it. I LOVE that jersey, one of my all time favourites in any sport. Simple, classy, not over done, colours work perfect!
