jammer2 Posted September 14, 2013 Posted September 14, 2013 A story by puck daddy reviews the vegas odds of the stars winning an individual trophy this upcoming season. Not a lot of surprises here, except maybe that Streit is 22/1 to win the Norris, which is not outlandish in theory, but does seem a tad to generous. When is the last time a minus player won the Norris, has it ever happened? I guess they feel being on a better team might help out his cause. http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/nhl-puck-daddy/nhl-awards-odds-sidney-crosby-favored-win-trophies-163332421--nhl.html I have no problem with Giroux at 16/1 odds of winning MVP, or with the players listed above him. You can make an arguement he could have been even with Tavares had he not regressed recently....and yeah, a pt per game when discussing MVP is regression...they should be help to a higher standard.
