bunnyman Posted December 29, 2013 Share Posted December 29, 2013 My boy Vladdy Tarasenko was great tonight!!!!! one goal, two assists, and a goal in the shootout makes him GREAT!!!!!The Blues were down 5-3 at one point, never led the game UNTIL the end of the shootout by my boy Shatty, the Blues have character and have shown those stinky Blackhawks that they smell like Daddy's hockey equipment that sits in his car boot!!!!!Daddy and I love Quenville, but we BOTH bleed BLUE!!!!We have your number, William Wirtz 3!!!!!! Maybe it would have been different if the Hawks hadn't began a parade to the penalty box. THe Blues' tying goal was on the power play. He has meant so much to the Blues offense this year, any extended absence by Alex would obviously be tough on the Blues offense. They struggle to begin with on offense, has been this way since Federko and Oates retired, really. Hopefully Steen comes back quick. I have a sneaking suspicion that Stewart will step up and take on some of the scoring slack, he was 1st star of the week last week and I suspect more performances like that are on the horizon. If it's one thing I can't stand, it's when teams throw away games by taking needless penalties. I do hope our teams meet in the playoffs, though ... because it will be an epic throwdown of a matchup!
