OccamsRazor
Simmonds, Wayne: Since joining the Flyers:175GP, 59G, 57A, 116P (0.337 GPG, 0.663 PPG) Some damn good numbers there for him. I tell ya i enjoyed the hell out of watching him grab Boyle by the chin strap and bend his ass backwards over the boards and choke the snot out of him and he couldn't really even do nothing about it in the that scrum at the end of the Rags game. Loved it and he gives up several inches in height and about 30-40 pounds and Boyle was helpless, Nice.

flyercanuck
One of the few times (along with the Carter and Coburn deals) where Philly traded the now for the future. I prefer watching players develop and jell with teammates, and watching their best years with the Flyers......over talking about how we just got that future hall of famer for a wack of youth, and watching him fall apart before our eyes. The scary part, he is young enough we may have only seen the tip of the iceberg. He's on pace for 27 goals this year. This guy could be a 35 goal scorer in a few years if things keep progressing. Factor in his very respectable speed and grit and this is easily the best bang for the buck in the entire league. If Clarkson is worth 6 mill a year on the open market, then Wayne would be worth every bit of 7 mill plus when the cap goes up, so we might just be getting him at half price eventually.
