yave1964
Paul Maurice has the Jets playing sound hockey, Andrej Pavelec has responded to the coaching change by running off three straight victories and the Jets seem to be flying high. This week is telling with games on the road with the Ducks and the Sharks. This has always been a talented team with players like big Buff, Little, Wheeler, Kane and Ladd, young enigmatic d-men such as Enstrom and Bogosian, but the club has never jelled under Noel. A change was called for. Now two other solid youngsters have been added to the mix, Jacob Trouba who is playing lights out and the under the radar Mark Scheifele has developed into a solid second line center with huge upside. I think this season the West is too tough to overcome a slow start but if anyone could do it this might be the club to do so. They have been an obscene collection of talent with no direction if Maurice can get them to forge an identity this could be a very dangerous club.
