Chicago Hawkie Posted January 26, 2014 Posted January 26, 2014 This season, the Hawks have had their way with Winnipeg, but the Jets have been steadily playing better since the first game between the two teams and particularly since changing coaches. The Hawks are looking to get something good going after having lost their last two games (one of those losses, though, being in a shootout). It will be our last home game in awhile, with the Olympics coming up and the Hawks' annual Disney on Ice road trip coming soon, as well. Quote
jammer2 Posted January 26, 2014 Posted January 26, 2014 This should be a Montoya start, who has been decent despite the clunker he turned in last week. Jets are one of the hottest teams in hockey of late, I think it continues. Jets 4 Hawks 2. Quote
jammer2 Posted January 27, 2014 Posted January 27, 2014 @jammer2 3-1 Jets with a good outing by Montoya. Was a bit off on the final score, but was thinking the right way..... 1 Quote

hf101 Posted January 27, 2014 Posted January 27, 2014 Moving Big Buff to RW seems to have made a huge difference with the Jets. Quote
Chicago Hawkie Posted January 27, 2014 Author Posted January 27, 2014 @jammer2 Wow ... you were very close ... Quote
Chicago Hawkie Posted January 27, 2014 Author Posted January 27, 2014 This was a tough loss. It seemed like the Hawks sat on that 1-0 too early in the game. That might work if the Hawks were in the Eastern conference against more defensive-minded teams, but not in the West. Quote
