pensuck
You Have To Think Someone On D Gets Moved Today. Since We've Just Aquired The #1 Shot Blocker In The NHL Where Does That Leave Grossman? Do We Keep Mezz Who's Only 28 And Is A Good Offensive Dman Or Grossman Who Has 0 Offensive Ability And Lately Has Been Pretty Bad In The D Zone. I Know The Contract Situation Is A Big Issue As Well For Mezz. Seeing That He's An Ufa...Interesting Stuff...
Bertmega
I think this team is one that believes that they are in the hunt for the cup this year. Sadly I think that means that they will not move anyone off their D. If however, a 2nd round pick is offered for Meszaros, Holmgren would be a fool not to take it. Mad Dog
I would think Mez is as good as gone. They have a glut of d-men... not that many of them are very good. THat move shoudl be just to dumpt his salary and look to improve the overall d in the summer. I really don't see the Flyers making any big moves today. There really is no good reason to. They are not one player away from winning the Cup. Let this young group grow together, go through the process together and try to pick well at this draft. There is absolutley no need for yet another expensive, aging player. None.
hf101
I think it will be Grossman that gets traded.

They need to move someone so they can bring Raffl back uo today...
flyercanuck
Hopefully they can get a 2015 2nd for Mez. Same for Grossmann would be nice.
JackStraw
Would like to see both Mesz and Grossman traded for picks. Would settle for one of the two.
brelic
Trade Mesz to Boston for a 2nd. Trade Gus and Hartnell to Winnipeg for Evander Kane
mojo1917
Trade Mesz to Boston for a 2nd. There is a need there with the Seidenberg injury ,plus history of playing well with Chara in the past, sucks to send him to a conference team , but I think that makes sense. They make a good trade partner, a 2nd in 2015 would be nice.
pensuck
@ BrelicThat Would Be A Great Trade. We Know homer Likes Him. Would We Get Bonus Points For Having 3 Black Players OnThe Same NHL Team? Not Sure If That Ever Happened B4:)

King Knut
Apparently people are asking on Mezaros. Who knows what they're offering though.
