Not sure if this can be seen? Let me know please.

The whle team was just off from Mase on out any time you get 3 scores from the Dmen and lose there is a problem. It wasn't what the Leafs did the Flyers were their worst own enemy in this one...it happens i guess they are lucky they fought back and got a point. Hartnell to me is killing the 1st lines effectiveness too with his puck bobbling....would love to see Raffl back with G and Jake.

Hartnall does not belong on the roster but since he is here he should be down on the 4th line.

I think this team still overpasses. Couturier was guilty of that many times yesterday. Passing into completely open space, blind drop passes. I think he's great at puck possession and cycling. He's great at defending, he's great at faceoffs. And every once in a while, he makes some really great offensive plays. But most of the time, it looks like he can't think the offensive game as quickly as required in the NHL. It's probably related to age and experience.

Jake chronically overpasses. Giroux is also guilty, though not as bad. And Brayden Schenn too. His line is just not at all effective. It has all but killed Simmonds, who was red hot. That happened when Vinny came back.. coincidence? I think not. Lecavalier's WOWY stats show that every single forward on this team is worse with him than without him.

Just for fun, here's what I'd like to see:

Vinny/G/Jake

Hartnell/Schenn/Simmonds (these guys were AWESOME just before the break)

Read/Couturier/Raffl

Rinaldo/Hall/Rosehill (though I'd rather see McGinn)

Vinny was a mistake from the get go, and maybe the top line is where he would do the least damage.

I have said this soooooo many times.  Especially when everyone in game chat says the exact same thing.  It is like they are looking for the pretty tic-tac-to passing scoring chance.  Just put the damm puck on net!!

I noticed it a lot last night because Toronto was very good at just getting pucks to the net, and looking for rebounds or redirects.

Sometimes the tic-tac-toe stuff works (or almost). Like that one in the 3rd yesterday that had three nice passes up to Giroux who then made a sweet pass to the front of the net for an open Streit (?) and Bernier made an incredible save. That was a wicked play.

But yeah, in general, I'd like to see them take more strategic shots on or toward the net to get rebounds and garbage.

It's also how the Flyers are able to come back and win games - by getting the dirty goals in front. Tipping off of this player, the backside of a defenseman, off the post and in.

Lots of times pucks just get thrown in front or cross-ice in the vain hope that someone will be coming down the crease.

Sure, 100% of shots not taken don't go in, but 100% of bad passes not made don't result in turnovers.
