On day one of round robin play, the Czechs beat the Slovaks, Russia beat Switzerland, US beat Belarus, and France shocked Canada 3-2. Today Germany beat Kazakhstan, Norway beat Italy, Latvia beat Finland, and Sweden beat Denmark.
