I confess that I try to steer conversations toward events in which my kids have done well. Anybody read about the draft list for the QMJHL? If you happen to look at that list, and if you have interest in the American kids, you might scroll down it and remark "Geez that's blocker's grandson!". One of the reasons we love sports is because most of the strories are about accomplishments. We get enough bad news in every other aspect of our daiily life.
