Just found a list of the top 250 of all time in playoff point per game average. Quite a few former and one present Flyers made the list, thought it would be fun to list them....just to give perspective, I'll list the top 3 and then move on to the Flyers ...

1)Wayne Gretzky.....1.837

2)Mario Lemieus....1.607

3)Barry Pederson....1.529....a surprise to see Pederson so high, only one of 3 to average a point and a half for their playoff careers.

18)Eric Lindros.....1.075

19)Claude Giroux...1.070  and just as impressive, Claude is 3rd among active players, trailing only Sid (7th) and Malkinenstein (9th).

21)Ken Linsemen.....1.062....shocked to see him in the top 25 all time, very impressive.  One of only 3 present or former Flyers to average over a point per game!

51)Rick MacLeish....0.939

53)Danny Briere....0.935

57)Brian Propp....0.925

72)Tim Kerr......0.876

73)Bobby Clarke....0.875

88)Bill Barber....0.837

112)Mark Recchi...0.778

114)Rick Tocchet...0.772

137)Reggie Leach.....0.734

145)Mike Richards....0.720

159)Rod Brindamour.....0.698

185)Jeff Carter...0.648

197)Justin Williams.....0.633

202)Paul Holmgren.....0.622 wow, startling to see him make the top 250....a great feat for him!

210)Patrick Sharp....0.610

216)Mark Howe....0.604

219)Mike Ricci.....0.600

227)Murray Craven....0.593...nice to see him make it

233)John LeClair....0.578

239)Dave Poulin.....0.566

A very impressive group, excellent to see so many former Flyers showing up!!

Shocked to see him there as well. Dirty / Nasty player that you love to have on your team, but abhor on the other team.

He is actually a good trivia questions:

1) Ken Linesman was a 1st round pick by the Flyers for the rights of Coach Fred Shero (NYR).

2) Ken Linesman was traded to the Hartford Whalers (with Greg Adams and Picks for).........Mark Howe.

Some interesting facts on Homer. The best year of his career, by far was 79-80. His regular season was 30 goals and 35 assists for 65 pts....and his playoff totals were 18 games, 10 goals and 10 assists for 20 pts. That was the year where we lost to the Islanders, the first of their 4 straight Cups....and Bob Nystrom and all that fun stuff

Ya know, I always knew Homer was one of those tough guys who could chip in with the offense, but I had totally forgotten about his scoring 30 goals....all this from a guy who had 267 PIM's that year, how in the holy hell did he find time to score 30 goals....LOL!
