brelic
I'm glad. He looked good in a limited sample. http://www.courierpostonline.com/story/flyer-files/2014/07/02/flyers-sign-jason-akeson/12041215/ Jason Akeson just might have played his way onto the Flyers roster after an impressive playoff performance in a seven-game series against the New York Rangers. The 24-year-old winger had two goals and an assist in the first round of the playoffs on a line with Matt Read and Sean Couturier. In his regular season career – which consists only of the Flyers' last two finales – he has a goal and an assist. Wednesday the Flyers retained the restricted free agent, signing him to a one-year, two-way contract. Akeson's qualifying offer was worth $715,000. It's unclear if his contract is worth the same amount.
doom88
Good signing. Hope he makes something of himself, *for* Philly.
jammer2
He showed some nice poise with the puck, never treated it like a hot potatoe like most rookies coming up from the A. Hopefully he builds on this success.
