Clearly the Flyers are a serious ratings draw. I'm wondering how many other third seeds in divisions from last year have 16 nationally televised games?

Well, there's the ComcastNBC thing too.

True, but I can certainly see why the NHL would want a lot of those games to be nationally televised.  Flyers-Pens especially.  The Flyers have a lot of fans across the country and a lot of haters.  That makes for great ratings.

I've said it before, but I really hate that a monopolistic customer-****ing media company with intentions on controlling all public airwaves and general world domination owns the Flyers.
