jammer2
Highly touted American Luke Kirwan has told the U.S Development Program that he is leaving them to pursue his dream of playing in the OHL. The Spitfires acquired his right in a trade with the Guelph Storm, sending 2nd round picks (you can't trade 1st rounders in the OHL, so 2nd's are GOLD in trades) in 2018 and 2019. The Spits are gearing up to win it all in 2015-2016 season. This kid is the real deal, a wicked power forward with a 6'2 220 lb frame, and is still growing, only 16. He is NHL draft eligible for the 2016 draft, where he is said to projected to go in the top 10, but I have heard top 5 also...WHAT A STEAL!!! http://blogs.windsorstar.com/sports/spitfires-bring-kirwan-into-the-fold

jammer2
@OccamsRazor Can't wait to see Kirwin and Coffey's kid in camp this year. One of the most anticipated Spits camps since we were the best junior team in the world.
