Irishjim Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 It looks like the mystery over the Flyers alternate jerseys is over. A photo of Mark Streit donning a jersey eerily similar to the Flyers 2011-2012 Winter Classic jersey's was found over several social media sites. Streit wasn't signed by the Flyers until the 2013-2014 season and wouldn't have been present for the original photo shoots. Furthermore, the jersey itself is missing the Winter Classic patch and has none of the original shoulder numbering. Check out the possibly leaked photo below. Obviously in the photoshop era of the internet, nothing is official until is confirmed by the team. But the winter classic look is corroborated by previously released photos of the team practicing in their new gear.So if this is the Flyers new look, what do you think? Do you like the Winter Classic jersey as a third alternate? Provided by lETSGOFLYERS.NET
JackStraw Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 I like them better than the regular uniforms.
pilldoc Posted September 17, 2014 Posted September 17, 2014 I like. It incorporates the tradition with a touch of sleek modernization. Is it me or does the orange seem a bit more deeper in orange. Overall, if this is the 3rd jersey. ..... I want one!
hf101 Posted September 17, 2014 Posted September 17, 2014 Excellent!, I need a new jersey this year, didn't shell out the extra money as the Winter Classic was expensive enough.
Irishjim Posted September 17, 2014 Author Posted September 17, 2014 i like these better then the home orange jersey..that one has run its course
