nossagog Posted September 18, 2014 Posted September 18, 2014 Yeah, apparently training issues for both. I know Crosby was out in Denver training with some other NHL'rs. My guess is stardard muscle strains associated with the beginning of the season.
Vanflyer Posted September 18, 2014 Posted September 18, 2014 My guess is stardard muscle strains associated with the beginning of the season. Groin issues? (sorry, I could not resist).
B21 Posted September 19, 2014 Posted September 19, 2014 I heard a rumor that Crosby reinjured his wrist while golfing in a drunken stupor and Malkin was detained after fondling a KGB agent.
Yorick Posted September 28, 2014 Posted September 28, 2014 He's back! Sidney Crosby will make his preseason debut Monday night when the Pittsburgh Penguins visit the Minnesota Wild, the team said Sunday.Crosby was scheduled to play his first preseason game Saturday against the Columbus Blue Jackets, but he missed the home game to fly home to Nova Scotia after the death of his grandmother. He has been hampered during training camp by an undisclosed injury that the team said is unrelated to the wrist injury he suffered in March.Forward Pascal Dupuis, who had season-ending knee surgery in February, is also scheduled to make his preseason debut against the Wild, according to the lineup posted on the team website.
