Biography suggestions

I thought it might be a good idea to take suggestions for people to feature in the biography series I'm doing. I can't guarantee that I'll do them all if there are a lot of suggestions, but if there's a guy that several people would like to see featured, I'd certainly be more than happy to try to be accommodating.

Just for the record, I'm not sure Jiri Dopita qualifies.

Here's a few...some players I followed on the Lightning , though I know they played for many other teams, and one other guy who led a pretty successful career, but is often overlooked due to his more famous teammates:

Dave Andreychuk.

Maybe an interesting read about his start with the Sabres and his career long chase for a Stanley Cup through Toronto, NJ, Boston, Colorado...but not quite getting it till he got to the Lightning.

Another guy, John Cullen, former Penguin, Whaler, Leaf and finally Lightning player who was the epitome of "the little engine that could", battled cancer survived that and was always a guy who wore his emotions on his sleeve.

Finally, Ronnie Francis.

Such a relatively quiet career starting in Hartford, then playing in the shadow of Mario Lemieux and Jaromir Jagr in their primes, yet being so essential to the Pens' success even with those two star players on those Pit teams.

His trek to Carolina and Toronto, and finally ascending to the top of the FO food chain as GM of the Canes and now charged with bringing that franchise to greatness.

@ScottM   I have always thought that Jean Reattle was so very underrated, and one of the classiest human beings to ever lace up skates. For those reasons along I'd love to see a piece on him.

During the 46'47 season, the great Bill Durnan was the last player to lead the NHL in wins, lowest GGA while being the captain. Another thing that made Bill very intriguing, he lead the NHL in lowest GGA through a big chunk of the 40's...BUT, he never ever played with a blocker, instead, he chose to play with 2 catching gloves!!  One of the reasons he did this was the fact he was 100% ambidextrous, neither hand was dominant.

Every single member of the Bruins famed Kraut line (all 3 were from a German part of Kitchener, Ont) deserves mention. Milt Schmidt, Bobby Bauer and Woody Dumart were all dominant players who just don't get talked about enough.

Would love to see a Jean Beliveau and Yvon Cournoyer would be interesting, as would the Esposito and Mahovlich brothers.

These are good. There have been some guys I've considered mentioned as well as some I hadn't thought about that are great suggestions. Some of the guys y'all have mentioned will make the cut at some point!

My apologies for not having anything done. Things have been extremely busy for me lately and I haven't been on here much. I will try (keyword: try) to do something with this this weekend.
