brelic Posted September 30, 2014 Posted September 30, 2014 That's good news for the Flyers and Giroux - a chance to get a few games in with the linemates before the season. http://www.nhl.com/ice/blogpost.htm?id=32085&navid=DL|NHL|home Philadelphia Flyers captain Claude Giroux will make his preseason debut Tuesday against the New York Rangers. Giroux, who centered Brayden Schenn and Jakub Voracek at the morning skate, sustained a lower-body injury on the opening day of training camp and had said in the past week he'd like to get one or two preseason games in before the Flyers open the regular season Oct. 8 at the Boston Bruins. The Flyers conclude the preseason Thursday against the Washington Capitals.
