Simmonds scored his first two points of the preseason with a goal and an assist in a 4-2 victory at Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia. The 26-year-old is entering his fourth season with the Flyers in 2014-15. He has 111 goals and 234 points in 449 career games spanning six seasons, including his first three with the Los Angeles Kings.

I'm sure Akeson will take his spot they should be fine till he recovers. So the Flyers will have to face Gagne the first game of the season??? Well i'm hopeing he doesn't haunt them but we all know how X-Flyers do against them.
