TropicalFruitGirl26 Posted November 3, 2014 Share Posted November 3, 2014 In looking at his career stats for ALL leagues he has played in, he has 20 G, 53 A, total....for 907 games played.Not only that, but he is at 0 (+/-) at best, or a HEAVY minus player as an average to go along with his 3800+ in PIM over those same 907 games. 35 yr old hockey veteran whom you'd think would know better....or worse still, any league employing this Cro-Magnon would know better.This is the sort of dinosaur most leagues are supposed to be trying to get rid of. He has 57 NHL games played, which isn't surprising, but really, what is he accomplishing for ANYONE playing in leagues below the NHL?Not 'teaching' younger guys anything, cept maybe the stupid way to go about your business...not helping to develop anyone, unless you count dribbling someone's head off the ice as 'development'.Certainly not helping his team win games as he is more likely rack up majors and misconducts than even a single assist in any given game. I can see some undesirable players slipping through the cracks, but this guy is way too much of a menace to simply have 'slipped through the cracks' I like a tough hockey player as much as the next person, and still believe that an enforcer, albeit a heavily modified one, still has a place in the NHL and hockey in general...but again, this guy is just plain prehistoric, with nothing to bring to the table except potential for debacles, and possibly ending someone's career. Shame on teams continuing to give this guy a contract when he should be working as a casino bouncer somewhere.....not anywhere near a hockey rink ruining the game for upcoming players, dedicated journeyman or fans. Its borderline as bad as McSorely two hand to brashear. Gilles won the fight and that dude was turtling. That kind of crap does not fly with me.
