That Rick Nash would have 7 pts (6g 1 a) and King Henry would have a 5.16 gaa / .816 sv pctg????

Did the exorcist come to town??

As a Flyers fan, I am a Rangers hater, but I have always had the deepest admiration for King Henry and a bit of disdain for Nash (just because I think he is a no show player with enormous talent- kind of Heatley esque redux).

Just give them till the end of the year, @Vanflyer .

When it really matters most, Lundquist will be at the top of his game, and he will NEED to be, because Rick Nash and goals by Nash will be nowhere to be found!  ;)

In all seriousness though, for some reason Lundquist has always been a slow starter. If I am a NYR fan, I am not worried about him yet....if this continues into November however, then there might be a problem....

Nash though...man, that guy just has to have a good year start to finish...none of this disappearing for stretches....certainly not in the playoffs.

It's why most hockey fans look at a category of players like Crosby, Stamkos, Toews and probably soon, a guy like Nate MacKinnon....and Nash is NOT included in that.

It's because those star players put in consistent good yearly efforts while Nash seems all or nothing...and nothing seems to show up right when his teams (both in New York and Columbus) need him the most.

I don't think anyone questions his physical skillset....but whatever is going on between his ears, well, it is a far cry from the 6'4 225 scoring machine he can be on a regular basis.

All your points are spot on, particularly this one.

I have Mckinnon on my FHL team. Love the player. As much as we (flyers fans) throw players under the bus here, could you imagine if Nash was a Flyer. Talk about wolves howling at the moon!
