Darnell Nurse was officially sent back to his junior team. Probably the right thing to do. Just like how we are debating with the disposition of our top Defenseman Prospects, the best thing for Nurse at this point in time is to get as many minutes as possible with his junior team. Again, just like we had with Sandheim and Morin, the AHL is probably the best for Nurse, but because of the age constraints, he had to go back to Juniors. JR Ewing Posted October 28, 2014 Share Posted October 28, 2014 Yeah, Nurse was sent back about two weeks ago. He played well enough, though he was (rightly) sheltered. Even looking as decent as he was, it preposterous to play him over Martin Marincin, who was in the American League. I agree with you: let them develop.
