Some interesting sub plots this year....Eichel is trying to become the 2nd ever freshman to win this award...the first, was of course, Paul Karia for Maine. Another player in the Frozen 4 is a finalist, North Dakota goalie Mclentyre (sp..lol) is trying to become the first goalie since Ryan Miller posted incredible numbers and won the award in 2001. The 3rd finalist is Harvard forward Jimmy Vessey....don't know much about him but I know he is highly thought of. I expect Eichel to win, but he has some nice company...although the North Dakota goalie is not having one of his better games tonight in the Frozen 4....
