King Knut
I really prefer the old NHL where interfering with the goalie was discouraged. I just can't abide by all these goals resulting directly from contact with the keeper. It just doesn't compute in my head. I know Many here have moved on or are too young to know the difference, but I really find it bothersome and makes the game much less enjoyable to me. jammer2
Hard to believe how very badly Crawford is getting hit in the WCF. The refs have been very lax in making goalie interference calls against the Ducks....and they are taking liberites with Crawford because of it. Does not matter if he is in the crease or out, they always seem to get a nice cheap shot on him. It's an unfair advantage.

hf101
The Refs dodged a bullet with Shaw's two goals last night. This goal should have been disallowed.

Yes it shouldn't have been a penalty...but certainly incidental contact would have hated to seen a series end like that.

ruxpin
goaltender has a right to play the puck...interference Yeah. Definitely incidental contact. The goal should never have been allowed. No penalty, but no goal. I, too, am glad a team's season didn't end as a result of refs paying absolutely no attention.

Have you been watching this series? The consistency rules out incidental. Sorry.
OccamsRazor
Incidental like a fox. Have you been watching this series? The consistency rules out incidental. Sorry. I'm just talking about how they would rule that...not true intentions...we know it wasn't incidental...but we can't prove it either...so no penalty and the goal shouldn't count. We'll they will get a chance to close it out in Anaheim now...Anderson to me looks slow and loses track of the puck to easy...not sure what is going on with him?? Nerves...pressure something. Was Crawford in the first cup team? He was the backup? Hard to imagine.
OccamsRazor
Fixed Yeah i guess i forget it was Niemi and Huet. Either Way he has won one and lost to the KIngs in the conference finals so he is seasoned enough to know it should be expected.
