@OccamsRazor

First of all you are very welcome.  I'm glad I was able to help everyone.  It is one part of this forum I really enjoy doing.  Doing the research and finding info for everyone else.

Second, not sure what to make of the MHL.  Have no idea what type of league, but 1.95 GAA and 0.911 SV % is pretty impressive for me.  Again, I have no idea what type of competition that is so take his stats with a grain of salt.

7th round (188th overall) – Ivan Fedotov, G, Reaktor Nizhnekamsk (MHL), 6-6, 192 lbs.
Born November 28, 1996 in St. Petersburg, Russia (age 18).
Rankings: None

Scouting report: Appeared in one KHL game for Neftekhimik Nizhnekamsk, having a rough time in a blowout loss. The trend in recent years has been toward bigger and bigger goalies and Fedotov stands a shade over 6-foot-6. This late-draft selection was a low-risk gamble that he could turn into something of value down the road. Fedotov has no international experience but performed well at the MHL level in the regular season before a rough playoffs.

In other words....a gamble.....

The Flyers addressed a need taking two of the top 3 goaltenders in this years draft.  Samsonov that the Capitals took in the first round has apparently 3 years left on a KHL deal.  They could lose his rights after that.  I'm not sure what commitments Fedotov has but hopefully this kid will come over to North America before he gets sucked into the KHL.

I did too. I think it's because the expectation was that NJ would draft him in the 1st, but traded their pick for Schneider. I almost thought the Flyers would draft him, but he got picked by the Habs a few picks ahead of the Flyers taking Hagg
