Is it that bad to coach for the Wild that you need to drink? Totally kidding, btw. Glad he didn't have an accident while his son was in the vehicle. Born To Be Wild
Awful decision all around. First drinking and driving and then to top it off putting your son and others on the road in that much danger. I am of course a huge Minnesota Wild fan, but if he is found guilty on his charges it should be time for the Wild Magangement to part ways with him. Just a really stupid decision that could end up costing him his job.
hf101
Seems like he got off easy considering he was driving drunk with a child in the car. Sydor was sentenced to serve 60 [non-consecutive] days in Anoka County Jail. The time will be scheduled around the NHL season and will be in intervals from 2015 to 2018. He will still have to miss some hockey games at the beginning of the season, according to court records. He will also be on probation until 2019. http://nhl.nbcsports.com/2015/10/12/wild-assistant-coach-sydor-gets-jail-time-for-dwi/

Doesn't look like this has been, or will, adversely affect the hockey team.Just glad the children are ok and the Wild are looking ahead to do some great things this year.
