yave1964 3,105 Posted October 22, 2015 Share Posted October 22, 2015 From what I have read he was looking to possibly coach the Russian team in an upcoming international tourney, he felt that as the winner of the Cup he deserved it. Apparently they do not want an American to coach an international tourney and the first time that his team lost 2 in a row this year he was fired. He has done a remarkable job of coaching over there, easily the best job of any NA coach in Russian history but he was getting a bit big for his britches. Sound familiar?
