ScottM
We move east from Ontario and into Francophone Quebec, which boasts the second-highest amount of NHL'ers. As you might expect, this team would be quite capable of going toe to toe with the Ontario team, and would have a very real shot at winning an international tournament. First Line: Luc Robitaille, Mario Lemieux, Maurice RichardSecond Line: Michel Goulet, Jean Beliveau, Mike BossyThird Line: Dickie Moore, Bill Cowley, Guy LafleurFourth Line: Rick Martin, Marcel Dionne, Bernie Geoffrion First Defensive Pair: Doug Harvey, Ray BourqueSecond Defensive Pair: Pierre Pilote, Sprague CleghornThird Defensive Pair: Butch Bouchard, Marcel Pronovost Goaltenders: Jacques Plante, Martin Brodeur, Patrick Roy At forward, Ontario's relative strength was at left wing and its relative weakness on the right side. (I say relative because there's really nothing weak in these teams at all.) For Quebec, that is reversed. There is one non Hall of Fame member on the left wing for this team, but honestly, who wouldn't want to put Rick Martin out on the ice. As with the Ontario team, this team is loaded at defense and in net. Good luck scoring on this bunch.
jammer2
If heaven indeed were to let you enjoy the best things in life, I'd order up a Team Quebec vs Team Ontario series,.,, all athletes in their prime...imagine that war?
