ScottM
This series is starting to draw to a close, as after this entry, there are only three teams remaining. Let's forget about that for a moment and see who is the best of the best in Smashville history! First Line: Paul Kariya, Cliff Ronning, Steve SullivanSecond Line: Scott Hartnell, Jason Arnott, J.P. DumontThird Line: Sergei Kostitsyn, David Legwand, Patric HornqvistFourth Line: Vitali Yachmenev, Mike Fisher, Scott Walker First Defensive Pair: Shea Weber, Roman JosiSecond Defensive Pair: Ryan Suter, Kimmo TimonenThird Defensive Pair: Marek Zidlicky, Dan Hamhuis Goaltenders: Pekka Rinne, Tomas Vokoun, Mike Dunham Head Coach: Barry Trotz Again, the theme of glaring weaknesses but obvious strengths with a recently formed franchise repeats. At center, we find a passable group, though there is a notable lack of depth on the wings. The biggest strength of the team is, in my opinion the defense, though the goaltending isn't half bad either. The top defenseman is one of the best to never win a Norris, followed by his worthy heir-apparent. In net, you have a guy that may go down as the best at his position that his nation has ever produced, followed by a 300 game winner. So, there's my take. Who would you include? flyercanuck
@ScottM That's some awesome defence for a young franchise....and some pretty lame forwards other than a few.
