Would have loved to see Weal make his debut say in RJ spot but i guess they'll give him some time to get to know the system. It is just so nice to not see Vinny's name in the healthy scratch spot. A late Christmas gift from Hexy!

and.... Umberger plays again.   He seriously must have some pretty incriminating evidence against Hextall.

Him and Schultz. Not sure what it is but it must be pretty incriminating for sure.

Umberger is looking at his best chance of finding some way to be productive with Read and Laughton. Now if they can just keep these lines together for more than a cup of coffee and see how they play, I think all parties will be happier. Worst case, I am pretty sure that Vinny left the instructions for making popcorn for Big Ed and crew in the box........

I'm interested to see what happens when they get back to Philly. Does Umberger sit? Does Gagner come back? I'd kind of like to see Gagner-Laughton-Weal. I'd also like to see Laughton and White's lines reversed in terms of ice time.

With defensive scratches, it's pick your poison with Schultz/Manning.

Got pinwheeled by Koivu. Might have been when it happened.

I will have to rewind to see when it happened.

No wonder he's a hero in Minnesota

I watched a little of the 2nd on a rewind Ghost was out there playing. It seemed like he had no jump i didn't see his burst wanting to jump up in the play he held back more than i seen from him. So i'm going to guess groin.

Del Zotto was a beast last night. Over 27:00 TOI, 2 goals, 5 shots.

Yes good game by him with a short bench. His 1st 2 goal game (only his 2nd of his NHL career) since 2012. Came at a right time.

I won't even mention how many points out of a playoff spot the Flyer are because everytime i mention it they seem to be listening and it must jinx them and they lose.

So i will not say any more on that.

I was reading where Ghost had a knee to knee with Koivu. I didn't see that only what i posted above. But it was the right knee noted and not his knee he had ACL surgery on.

Either way it happened in the 1st and he played a couple shifts in the 2nd so it must not be that bad. **crossing fingers**

He and Schenn are playing really well lately. That's great news for the Flyers!

Yes he is playing for a contract.......and he just seen what happened to his brother so if he don't want to join him on the flight out of town he needs to bring it.

So i'm guessing a contract like Coots signed if they decide to keep him is in his future.

6 year 4.33AAV???

The Flyers never trailed... are we talking about the same game?

Yeah they were up 3-1 and lost momentum and Mason kept them in it, they gave Minny a point not as big a deal since they are in the west. So yeah it was a comeback win in OT with 37 seconds left because we know they would lose if it went to a shootout.
