pilldoc Posted January 26, 2016 Posted January 26, 2016 For those who are interested.....the CHL / BMO Top Prospect Game will be held this Thursday evening. Last year it was on the NHL Channel. Check your local listings. Last year I remember watching Travis Konecny play and secretly wishing he be drafted by the Flyers. Well I got my wish. It is pretty good game to tune into if you get a chance. http://bmotopprospects.ca/main/index/ BMO CHL/NHL Top Prospects Game Broadcast Information Rogers Sportsnet: Sportsnet Channel East (ET) Ontario (ET) West (MT) Pacific (PT) Time 9:00pm 9:00pm 7:00pm 6:00

flyercanuck Posted January 29, 2016 Posted January 29, 2016 I'm really liking this Pierre-Luc Dubois from beautiful Cape Breton. At 6'3 205 lbs and one of the youngest players in this draft, he's rated in the 7-10 range. He's very good at every aspect of the game (Hakstol would love him) and he's comfortable playing either wing or centre. He's had a great season playing on a not so great team and stood out in the prospects game last night. I could see this kid having a Jamie Benn-type ceiling and am starting to think I'd take him right after Mathews and the two Finns. Of course there's still plenty of season left, just really impressed with his all around game.

That says all I need to know. I only saw a bit of the game last night but I saw and noticed him. He will rise.

pilldoc Posted January 29, 2016 Author Posted January 29, 2016 I missed the game. And I was even the one that started the thread. Was not feeling good and went to bed early. How was the game? Any other standouts besides this kid named Pierre-Luc Dubois? Hopefully I will get to see a replay in the future.
VanIsleFlyer Posted January 29, 2016 Posted January 29, 2016 I caught the third period of the game. From what I saw, Dupois and Laberge where the best on the ice, accounting for all of Team Orr's goals. Either one of them would be a good pick. I though Logan Brown had a pretty good third period too!
