TropicalFruitGirl26
Maybe it's just me, but has anyone else noticed...... Whenever I have a choice of broadcasts on a given hockey game, I notice that the HOME broadcast tends to have the crowds in the background at a higher volume than the visiting broadcast. Take the Ottawa at Detroit game I have on right now.... The home Red Wings broadcast has the sounds and crowd in the background crystal clear, whereas the visiting Senators broadcast has the home crowd (and overall sounds of the game) muted. And I really haven't been taking notes on who does what exactly, but I this seems to be pretty normal for broadcasts to do this. For instance, this same matchup, taking place in Ottawa instead, will probably have the Sens crowd and sounds clearer, while the Red Wing team mutes sounds on their end (except for the actual broadcasters of course). Anyone else notice this? And if this IS going on, why do you suppose this is so? To make the other team's home fans seem "less enthusiastic" to the visiting fan's feed? It's kinda a strange, yet interesting dynamic with this.
