I guess we cross our fingers and hope for an RJ scoring streak.  Scratching Read is interesting and a comment on his under-performance. On the other hand, Weal and Gagner show some speed and hockey sense.  Mason's lifetime performance against these folks is abysmal.

Yes the Devils are Mason's kryptonite....what is he like 0-8 versus them or something?

It's why it's time to give him a rest and Neuvy is playing.

Of all the things that the refs parked their whistles for in that game, and that's what you're gonna call.?.  In overtime?  Not saying flyers deserved to win, but that's just garbage pail refereeing.

Congrats to Ghost, heck-uva streak, and literally the only thing that makes watching a game which includes the Devils tolerable.  God I can't stand that franchise.

I missed OT...saw the box score...So the Debs won on the PP in OT? Terrific.

If it really impeded the puck-carrier's progress, fine, the players ought to know better by now. But I'm sick of watching this "zero tolerance" policy on trifling little hooks and nudges.

Hardly.  I had a count going of some 8+ infractions  (both ways, all of which were as bad or worse than Jakes penalty) in just the last 10 minutes and overtime.  No whistles,  felt like a playoff game.  I even commented out loud 'well, I guess you can deck the schitt out of em.'  It's just so inconsistent, and underwrote the outcome of this game.
