ScottM
This has been a long time coming, and I wanted to do it while I have a chance. Today, I continue the provincial teams with British Columbia. First Line: Paul Kariya, Steve Yzerman, Mark RecchiSecond Line: Jamie Benn, Joe Sakic, Glenn AndersonThird Line: Milan Lucic, Lynn Patrick, Cam NeelyFourth Line: Geoff Courtnall, Peter McNab, Danny Gare First Defensive Pair: Shea Weber, Barry BeckSecond Defensive Pair: Brent Seabrook, Dan HamhuisThird Defensive Pair: Doug Bodger, Joe Watson Goaltenders: Tiny Thompson, Andy Moog, Carey Price Generally speaking, I'm not as impressed with this team as the others. Center is definitely a strength, the top couple of lines a quite good, and with Tiny Thompson anchoring the net... Who wouldn't be happy with that? That said, there are some issues here. The team's depth is far from exceptional as compared to earlier entries, and the defense is nothing to write home about in comparison/ I think Weber is a hall-of-famer, but after him, there's a drop. In the end, while BC has a greater population, I feel quite confident that Alberta and Saskatchewan would win those battles, and Manitoba might have a pretty good shot as well.
